It basically means you can use more than one finger at a time to do stuff. Kinda like have more than one mouse pointer. A bit like how the iPhone is.

As I really hate (as in go postal) fingerprints on my monitor, as I would prefer a small hand movement on my mouse over a stretch and large hand movements, why would I even consider this?

MSI Global ? Computer, Laptop, Notebook, Desktop, Mainboard, Graphics and more

You can still use a mouse with one of these.

You had to mention clowns, its your own fault.

Don't get me wrong, touch screens are great - on a phone, display PC, kitchen PC and control units.

But I don't want one for my PC that I watch movies, shows, or do anything more than push a few buttons.

Who likes to see you fingerprint in the middle of some show?

One thing you forgot to add here this is MSI. Which IMHO is the biggest reason not to get it.

I actually like MSI.

Having used their desktops, laptops, and own the MSI Wind U100, I find the build quality very high, their boasts not to be too far off the mark (battery life, etc), and the all round reliability to be higher than most main stream big brands.
I'm also contemplating between the X320 and U200 for the in-laws.

I worked with MSI products for many years and they fail not as often as other brands. And when they do fail the RMA had no issues replacing the bad stuff. Might not be top of OC and stuff but I think they do deliver decent parts.

I have had many issues with MSI products in the past. I have had 2 of their Ati based vid cards fail on me, both RMA'd and the replacments failed as well. And I had an MSI mobo that failed had it RMA'd several times in the first year of ownership when they finally gave me an "upgraded" board that failed as well. They may have gotten better in the past 4 years since I have purchased my last MSI product but I will not go back to them.

I wish EpoX still made products for the public.

A faulty mobo and or PSU can rape vid cards. Not having proper grounding for PC also can kill certain components. Not saying that they havent had issues with some products but having so many fails usually is because of the user not the product beeing bad. Might not be your case, just saying. Epox did great mobos (I loved em especially the socketA ones) but they used bad caps ffs.

When I went to Asus everything was fine. Same case and same person building it. But maybe your right maybe I screwed it up after a month or so of it running fine inside the case.

I actually see that it could be very useful to be sans mouse. To be able to touch, as I do not my phone, exactly what I want to "click" on seems more efficient to me. Now add multi touch as the iPhone has. That is quite useful.
