The price gap isn't much really from a Dell or HP or Lenovo laptop anymore, I personally don't like Mac OSX but the laptops are ok.

I'm glad that Apple's prices aren't far out of whack. Yet the fascination completely escapes me.

Yeah, I don't get it about Mac fan boys either... They say... Ohhh I don't like the control of M$ yet they use a product that will only be able to play on a Mac.

Its frustrating that a macbook is such a difficult thing to run Linux on, the aluminium unibody construction is brilliant as is the quality of the hardware in general, but I can't justify getting stuck with OSX over linux just for that.
