As long as you don't mind the fact you can only have one memory stick on each memory bus that is. My suspicion is that when it comes to CAS access, it'll take proportionally longer to open a page than earlier forms of DDR - meaning when you have to open a bank, you'll be waiting a long time!

The fastest RAM in production today still has an access time of something like 50 nS for the initial access (i.e. opening a new bank). This hasn't changed appreciably in 20 years. All that has happened from the early fast-page-mode DRAMs to today is that we've increased the speed with which we can access the subsequent memory addresses. That first address access is still brutally slow.

Offhand 50 nano-seconds sounds pretty fast, to this ignorant one at any rate. Gosh, I miss those 30-pin 1 Mb DIMMS. Like an extra hole in the head.
