52" touch screen Kiosk build

I was challenged to build a custom machine to work as a touchscreen kiosk in a YMCA.
The computer needs to be fairly small but have the graphical capabilities to handle a 52" touchscreen.
So I'm going to estimate the whole computer, but was wondering if you guys had any ideas....
I'm not sure what kind of video card is optimized for a touchscreen that large and the operating system.
I'm sure Windows 7 could handle it, but maybe there is something better out there.
Let me know your thoughts.
If you find anything online, please link to it so I can check it out.
Thanks

Do they already have the touch screen?

Otherwise, something like this may be useful:
PROVANTAGE: NextWindow 2700-52303 52 inch Touch Screen Overlay Max Display Od 48.9 inch x 28.9 inch

Overlays onto any 52" screen.

If you're using that with a 1080p screen, then the graphics card requirement is not so high, because its fairly low resolution.

But, I can't really see why a 52" screen would be needed, if you're using 1080p, which isn't intended to be viewed close-up.

Good point Danrok. I didn't even think of that.
I think its supposed to function as an internet kiosk, but you are right...1080 is too low for up-close.
So a TV is probably out of the question. Should I look for a super big LCD/LED screen?

What kind of info needs to be displayed, or is it for general internet use?

Wishlist

Here is the initial estimate and parts for the kiosk computer.
I was thinking about using Linux (Ubuntu, Fedora or Mint) instead of Win 7, but I'm not sure how optimized they are for touchscreens.
Also, I really like this case but it only supports expansion card at about 4.5 Inches in length. The smallest I could find was a 5.7in card.
So not sure what to do with the video card, but that Sapphire looks really good for low profile.

Any ideas?
Sorry to sound like I'm in a hurry, but I have a supervisor waiting on this.

I sent the wishlist to my supervisor and no response yet.
I would like to build it in a much smaller form factor, but its very diffifult.

I also thought about using a MAC Mini. It seems to have all the features for a simple setup to access a website and present it on a Huge monitor with touchscreen capabilities.
