__________________ I've heard that linux community came up with better implemented security in it's latest Linux Mint Gold version, it's actually preventing the user to log in, thus posing 0 risk in contamining the computer with malware! Well done to the open source community!  |

| Anyone used an SSD as their only drive for a long time? What's a long time? I dunno, one year? I know that they're much faster than rotating drives but wear and tear concerns me. And I'm somewhat tightfisted, large capacity SSD's cost a lot.

| I've got a 60 GiB SSD on my kids computer and it's been working just fine for about 6 months. With the all the wear leveling algorithms and stuff they've got on the modern SSDs, you'll likely replace the hardware for obsolescence before it wears out.
