Windows 2000 service pack 3 (is crap)

I installed Win 2K SP3, and now my machine is crashing within 30 seconds under:

fullscreen DivX,
Q3A,
and Diablo II LOD

Just wanted to advise against it. If you do install SP3, let it keep the undo information.

Now we know why they call it a "critical" update.

All this time on WinXP is starting to make me hate it the more I look at it. I'd love to go to 2K again, but I'd MUCH rather find a linux solution that would allow me to operate with some kind of confidence and intelligence.

Computers....I love them and hate them all in the same sometimes....

I feel the same way Azriel...After my recent crash/tragedy, I've got a pretty much clean rig, so I'm seriously contemplating it with a dual boot of Mandrake. I'm just annoyed with the whole m$haft thing in general.
