Formating 2nd (Slave) SATA Drive?

I have two Seagate 320GB 7200.10 drives. I have XP installed on the first (Master). I'm trying to format the 2nd drive, but can't figure out how. It shows up BIOS and in the Device Manager but not anywhere else. This is my first time working with SATA drives, am I missing something, or how do I format the 2nd drive?

First is detected as Drive C: (OS), and drive D: is my DVDRW (IDE).

right click my computer, select manage, goto the disk management section and it will probably be Disk1. Right click on the unallocated section and select new partition. Then either create one the full size of the drive or partition how you see fit.
