netbook restore
hi all,

i have a friend that just got her Acer Mini Aspire One Kav60 netbook. i told her to redo the harddrive with a fresh install of xp. the problem is that there is no optical drive.

what's the best way to redo the hd?
copy/paste the xp setup files to a thumbdrive and make it bootable?
create an image of the xp cd and restore that image on the thumbdrive?

You might check into an app called WinToFlash. I haven't used it personally but I know a couple of people that have used it to create a bootable xp installation disk on a thumb drive.
