Iiyama Screen res..?
Hi everyone, I have a 17" Iiyama S700JTI monitor that I cant get past 1280 x 1024. I'm using the standard Windows XP drivers at the moment, but have the latest Iiyama drivers on disc. Is it simply that this monitor is designed not to go any higher or is it just a driver problem/limitation?

Welcome to AOA Forums!

1280*1024 is probably the best your monitor can do. That ain't bad for a 17" monitor.

Updating your drivers won't give your higher screen resolutions, sorry.

If you're getting 1280x1024 out of it, be very happy. That's the maximum resolution it supports!

I guess from the sounds of things I should be happy!
I am really, but I'm looking for "flaws" so I can justify plumping out for a 19" flatscreen. Any suggestions? I'm looking at either the CTX, Iiyama 454 Pro or one of the Samsung, budget about £200 sterling. Thanks.

I have the Iiyama Vision Master Pro 450 and am very happy with it. And I think the 454 is similar? So go for it!
