41.09 Dets and now stuck at 60FPS!

Hi all, I've installed the 41.09 Dets after using the 40.41's for a while. Didn't have a single problem with them, everything worked great.
However, with the 41.09's I cant get my favourite game, Tribes 2, past 58-60FPS. With the previous drivers I didnt get below about 70-80 and often had 120-150 FPS.
Is there some sort of refresh lock with these drivers? Any other ideas perhaps?

Vsync is disabled for sure!
I cant get the Detonator destroyer to work under XP. I used "Add/Remove programs", rebooted with standard AGP settings, then installed the new Drivers.

Try using System Restore to get back to pre driver change if you can for now.

Here is a version of Detonator Destroyer rated for all OS's. Try it and let me know if it works for you.

If that doesn't work ........ disable the card in Device Manager and re-boot ........ it will start up in VGA mode .........NOW install your drivers.

Found a way round it. Uninstalled the 41.09's with "add remove programs" and am trying the 40.72 WHQL Dets. Guess what? Over 100FPS in Tribes 2 online!
I'm happy!

Try getting refreshforce or refreshlock. Both programs will keep your refresh rate at a set limit regardless of if you are playing a game or not. This is really a WinXP/2k issue, it deafults to 60hz in games. Some driver versions fix this however.
