| The quick and dirty answer is no. A more acurate answer is yes but it isn't worth the time, cost or effort. This was expolered (either in this forum or another one (probibly oc.com)) earlier. Basically you need a controller card that is made specifically for your LCD screen. I belive your screen can have anywhere from 24 to 48 to 50 to 100 pins (or wires or whatever it was.) And you need a controller card to convert from a VGA signal to one that the screen can handle. These cards are availible from places that make portable or special purpose computers of industry or the military and they are very expensive. You may want to try the search function on the top right of the screen and see if you can find some more in depth info. (This is all from memory so I may be wrong but if I am, I am pretty close. I think.) And welcome to the forums.

| Re: Notebook Display to VGA?Possible? Quote:
If you really want to connect it to the VGA output, you will need to do the following basic steps: 1) Convert the VGA output back into a digital form. 2) Convert the digital form into a suitable format for the LCD 3) Send the output to the LCD with the correct timing and drive currents. If you're well versed in high frequency electronics design, LCD interfaces/driving requirements and ASIC design, then you're probably at home doing this kinda stuff. Otherwise, do what everyone else does, and buy an LCD monitor. It's much much less hassle than having to learn the above! Áedán
