| eh, i didnt gain any performance and 290/315 (my previous best oc) artifacts

| Thank you very much for taking the plunge, funnyperson1. Nothing worse than a trail of disaster if folks give hardware "hacks" a try--- before waiting to see if the proposed "improvement" in performance is hooey. Were you able to flash your 8500's BIOS back to the earlier version? Artifacts are great in museums...

| eh, for some reason the backup didnt work but after trying the 1009, 7004, 7006, 7008, and 9100 bioses and none of them restored my oc someone on Rage3d told me to try to 7005 bios and that seems to have fixed it  ......but yeah, ill actually write up a comparison article for overclockcorner.com and you can read my full results there...i think that the reports of the amazing reports of the 50% performance increase is bs...i noticed no performance and also thank superdigg at Rage3d for making a n00b bootdisk where with simple interface to flash the bios
