| no idea how reliable, but I wouldn't be surprised if the new geforce disappoints like that

| i saw those pretty dissapointing, but it was also a crappy review as at least 2 of those benchies were cpu bottlenecks, though the 9700Pro one some of those telling us how far Ati drivers have come

| couple more reviews came out at anands and thg and extremetech...looks bad FX loses when AA and Aniso are turned on

| Lame beta nVIDIA drivers are the problem, not the GeForceFX board itself. But the Radeon 9700 Pro is a very good card, so I don't think the GFFX will be a Radeon 9700 Pro killer even when the finished drivers come out. GFFX will definitely perform better with some good drivers. We'll just have to wait and see.

| well in the past nvidia has been able to pull 20% performance out of nowhere when their spot is threatened, so who knows the FX might suddenly become good when R350 comes out

| Their going to need to pull that extra 20% speed from better drivers NOW if they they think their going to sell any of those dustbusters. I'm a former nVidia graphics card fan & now just nVidia motherboard chipset fan. Expect to see ATI wipe Nvidia all over the floor. I wouldn't be surprised to see the new R350 out before the Geforce FX anyway as ATI didn't need to paper their card.
