Subwoofer auto off

if there isnt over a certain amount of signal going to sub it will turn off to save power after about 2 seconds. This would be fine, but the sub turns off in the middle of any song that doesnt have insane amounts of thumping bass. does anyone happen to know if there is anyway I can disable/bypass the circut that regulates this? or should I just save up for some new speakers?
God's got this all wrong. We are not special. We are not crap or trash either. We just are, and what happens just happens.
And God says, "No, that's not right."

It would really depend on the speakers you have. If it's that annoying, it may be possible to hack the thing open and disable the circut. However, I have no idea what it would look like, and I've never heard of subwoofer mods... Though it would require a googling to be sure.

If it's really that annoying, you could allways use it as an excuse to just buy some new (and better ) speakers. I'd do that if they wern't amazing speakers (..especially if I knew somebody who'd buy them off of me!)
