NVidia Releases new linux drivers

NVIDIA has just posted new Linux drivers for its GeForce range of GPUs. The new drivers are version 1.0-4496 with a release date of July 28, 2003. Here are some of the improvements:

* GeForce FX 5900 support
* Support for Active Stereo + TwinView
* Initial support for APM power management
* Improved OpenGL performance when rendering to multiple buffers (such
as when using a stereo visual and rendering to GL_LEFT_AND_RIGHT).

As always, feel free to let us know your experiences with each new driver revision we post.

Thanks for the update. Did you upload them to aoafiles?

i tend to not upload driver files as they have a tendency to update frequently.... its always better to go grab them directly from the manufacturer in order to get the latest version.... unless of course the manufacturer has an unreliable site.... in the case of nvidia this is not an issue
