Help Please No sound

I have a sound blaster audigy df80. I was havig a problem with the sound so I uninstalled the drivers, and then reinstalled them, now I have no sound. Device manager shows it woking fine and no problems. Dose any one have any Idea what I can do to get the sound back?

Perhaps it is muted in the settings? It happends...

no, I checked all of them, none of them are muted.

Did you disable onboard sound in bios setup? You could try running the Windows Sounds and Audio devices properties and checkyour settings there.

I resolved the problem, the sound card was loose in the slot.
