is this expected???

I wanted to know whether a 8780 3dmark2001se score is expected or is there sth wrong??? my system which is:
Amd athlonXP 2500+ (166x12.0)
512DDR333 Kingston Value Ram
Epox 8rda+ rev.2
and offcourse most importantly
HIS xcalibur Radeon 9500 128MBddr (updated ati drivers)

so can you please help me out i want to know if there is sth wrong ?? i thought i would get more, I played call of duty and runs pretty well no problem.

Seems a little low, but what settings were you using? Do you have a compare URL?

I think most people benchmark at 800x600 with AA and AF off.

Make sure you have AA and AF off, go to your display settings and change it to aplication preference. Remember that many people tweak to get better points but makes the rendering of the graphics look crapy most of the times.

One thing that might improve scores is a mod to a 9700pro?
I cant remember if the HIS cards came with an artic silencer VGA cooler in that early a model or if it was only started with the 9800pros. If its not got one they're cheap (£10). That coupled with the omega drivers that do the softmod might get you a few more points at least.
