Asus 9800XT and blank screen info

BIOS for the Asus 9800 XT that addresses the "blank Screen" issue posted at:

I think it is the same Asus 9800 XT BIOS dated 2003/11/13 15:33 found at:
http://softmod.ocfaq.com/bios.php

It is not on the Asus website as of March 04.2004. It might be wise to wait until it shows up there before flashing.

Thanks, BTW, the Asus 9800XT BIOS flash package is now available from at Asus' website.

Fix monitor goes to standby mode for a few seconds when system is booting to Windows.

1. Under Windows XP or 2K, extract all the files in the zip file into a folder.
2. Run Winflash and system will reboot to Windows again.
3. System starts to flash VGA BIOS

I hope the info helps someone. I wonder how many AOA forum readers own a Asus 9800XT. If the info only benefits one person then it is certainly worth our efforts.
