Question creative blaster5 fx5950 ultra

this card is going ok but when i am playing games like C&C 0 hour it is makeing a sound like clicking sound i don't know if this is ok or not? games r running all right but it still makes that sound any help on thie please?????????????

Don't know what the sound could be - you do have the extra power cable plugged inot the card right? Also, check your CPU and case temperatures, might be getting hot.

I Think It Is The Card Over Heating When Playing Games It Norm Temp Is 39c But When Playing Games Go To 51c I Am Looking For A New Agp Cooler But I Am Haveing Problems Trying To Find Some!!!!!!any Help Guys!!!!!!!!

Sounds like the clicking is coming from the motherboard, indicating high heat. Do you have case fans installed? You should have air being pulled into the front bottom of the case and blown out the top rear. Make sure that your intake and exhaust fans are balanced, because if you have too much air coming in and not enough going out, or the reverse, you will get poor system cooling. Also make sure you have a nice even, THIN layer of heatsink compound between your 'sink and your processor. Artic Silver is great stuff, but only if it is properly applied. Hope this helps!

i think u r right but i have got 4 case fans(2 at front 1 at back 1 up top plus 1 jet force 7 and 2 fans on the card !!!!!!!!

hmmm - sounds like maybe you just don't have good airflow in the case. SOme designs work better than others. Is you Power Supply mounted right above the motherboard or is there a pretty good gap? My wife's machine has the PS mounted right next to the motherboard and the exhaust fans are actually above that, her machine ALWAYS runs hot.

everthing is ok now i have added 2 amd fans on my fx5950ultra it's keeping temps to 43c norm and about 50c when playing games take a look at it!!!!!
