Just a quickie...

Is the 6800GT an Underclocked 6800U?

Or a different core?

Suposedly exactly the same except for the clock speed.

I am not sure if it has one or two molex connectors, but I think the Ultra is suposed to have 2.

It is not like the X800 PE and the X800 Pro where one has 12 pixel pipelines and the other has 16.

ooh i wanted to know the answer to this too! Since I read the GT can overclock to withing 100 or so of the ultra on its stock air cooling. I'd try to find one with a wb and see if it could do equal, which wouldn't make sense, because then Nvidia would be competing its own product against another one of its own. Anyone confirm this?

I believe that the situation with GPUs is much the same as it is with CPUs. They only make one NV40 GPU for 6800's and then grade the chips and modify the number of pipelines, etc. giving a series of card models.

So, they're all variations of the same core.
