ATI tool

What do you think of ATI tool? is the "find max mem" and "find max core" any good? and is it worth overclocking my 9800pro with the iceq cooler on? Thanks

edit: oh and is there any where that shows the results that people have got with my perticular card?

Its a good utility as far as I can tell, though the "find maximum" feature is pretty useless. be sure you get some unlocked Doom3 drivers when it asks if you need them..

ATI Tool is pretty good, although the "find max mem" and "find max core" is not that good. Just use the same thing overclock 5 mhz and see if it's unstable, if not give it another 5 in the core until you see it unstable. Do the same thing with the memory. The scan for anrtifacts and the overclocking feature are the only good things on ATI Tool IMO.

Ati tool screwed my 8500 temporarly after a mild oc from 275 to 300, have heard some horror stories about ati tool though.

I would recomend against using it.
