A 128MB Video Card for $54??

Can it be possible?? Well, yes, I found a 128MB video for $54 plus shipping costs....It appears to be a pretty good card, but I'm not too certain about the chipset, it is the SiS 315 graphics chipset and since I'm not too familiar with SiS graphics chipsets I wanted to get some opinions....if u have found any reviews or know from personal experience of the quality of this card please let me know....the link is posted below and I am really considering purchasing this card but would like to get your input first, thanks.... :-D

oh and if your wondering about purchasing from this website, I have purchased from them before and they are pretty good with handling business affairs....pretty decent customer support as well....even though they are a no-name online company, lol, yet there are soooo many of those, so how can you keep track, lol....also, if your wondering where I found this at....

www.pricewatch.com

where else, lol, that's where I do all my comparison shopping, lol, lemme know whatcha think, thanks....

It's a decent cheap card, but not really a gamers card. Better would probably be a MX400, Radeon LE or Kyro II. I'd say it has 128mb ram more for marketing purposes.

I'd also stay away from www.buyaib.com. Their rating on resellerratings.com is a 2.0.

XBit labs did a review of a SIS315 based card. http://www.xbitlabs.com/video/sis315/

Take a look - it seems to compare reasonably well with the MX200 cards.

Now that SiS has a decent GPU foundation to build upon, I could see there future GPUs in a lot of OEMs down the road . . . . and competition is always good for the consumer . . . .

KyroII all the way!!! Nothing comes close in the low end. KyroII Ultra is almost here as well.
