Graphics forums move slow...Lets speed it up

9800Pro or 5900XT, either we will be overclocking to its end .(this is a performance question btw, which one performs better)

forgot to mention. both are 128MB version.

9800 pro by a mile, the 9800 pro is the same as the xt apart from clock speed and it can reach this and surpass it in many cases. The 5900xt is a good card, much better than the 9800se (those which dont softmod anyhow) but no match for the 9800pro

Personally I liked my 5900 flashed to 5950 with 475 as the new core speed...which was high. It performed pretty damn well IMO>:O but if you guys are saying 9800pro(xt core) would be more powerful, and a better choice at +$15ish(chump change)..and the super cool and stuff will help it even further still?

Btw I was lookin at the 5900pro(xt) golden sample...where they use the best chips and the best ram chips....which promises more overclocks, just by a bit, but every bit helps....the 9800 is a touch(literally not enough to worry about prolly) more$$. IDK if the block I have will work on the 9800 if I get that for my gamin rig...which I'm working out mentally.
