| ForceWare 76.10 On Tap Nvidia has developed yet another new beta package, the Forceware 76.10 drivers. These drivers were designed for use at CeBit and are similar to the 75.90s with some notable bug fixes. The biggest being DE_AZTEC no longer corrupted in CS:S. Notes included on AOAFiles: Nvidia Beta drivers 76.10 for all Geforce, Geforce GO, Quadro and TNT2 cards. These drivers give slightly better performance than the previous 75.90 drivers, however they fix many known issues with the 75.90 set. These fixes include the de_aztec texture corruption *Fixed* halo corruption *Fixed* SLI Load balancing in Far Cry *Fixed* These drivers have a temperature reporting bug. The drivers report temperatures up to 20 degrees celcius above normal. To fix this problem, install CoolBits 2.0 to allow the overclocking tab, and overclock your 2D, core speed by 5-20mhz. This will fix the temperature issue. Remember, overclock the 2D to fix it, overclocking the 3D speed is the same as always but has no effect on temperature reports. These drivers are expected to be similar to the next official Nvidia release. Highly Recommended. Available HERE

| I just formatted my hdd and reinstalled windows. Decided to use these drivers after installing nforce audio and internet. I found that using 76.10 drivers with nforce 6.39 screws up all my games and nvidia tech demos but runs 3DMark 05 with great results - 6038. I uninstalled all nvidia drivers and tried the older 5.10 nforce drivers with the 76.10 forceware drivers. Now all my games and tech demos run fine but 3DMARK05 is screwed up! Anybody get this problem???

| I was using the 5.10 with the 75.XX and now with the 76.10... all is well!

| I would say its a good time to use drivercleaner to wipe both forceware and nforce drivers and start again. Also make sure DX9.0C is installed correctly.

| There is a new Valance Studios / Xtreme G modified driver based on the new 76.10 Nvidia beta drivers. These are a beta version of the Xtreme G mod, and will be an interim measure until a final release come out around March 16/17. Driver notes from AOAfiles.com: Valance Studios Beta drivers 76.10 for all Geforce, Geforce GO, Quadro and TNT2 cards. These modified drivers offer a slight performance increase over Nvidia drivers, and improved image quality. Anyone with a Geforce 6 series or FX series can benefit from these drivers. Keep up your drivers up to date to achieve the highest performance possible out of your 3D card.
