ATI/Nvidia multi-video processing!!!!1 AGP card-1 PCI-e card (ATI ONLY)

Quote:
VIA claims that they will be offering a better value alternative to the upcoming ATI MVPU. According to VIA, any combination of a PCI Express and AGP 8x graphics cards will work just fine in a system with VIA PT880 Pro mainboard.
You'd think they'd use something other than a thermaltake cxase for the display unit....
Full details(although they are meager) can be found HERE, at XBIT labs.

You're too much, DSIO!

Nvidia solution will work as well, but becasue of nvidia's implementation, the cars still require a "sli" bridge. Via is going to have a hard time bringing the nvidia-based product to market, i think. liscencing is a big issue righht now.

I'll be trying out this combo myself, so i can make use of my x800xtpe, in "MVP"
