dvd decoder

where can i get one for windows media player so i can watch my dvds

I don't think there are any free ones due to licensing reasons. You probably got a player bundled with your graphics card or dvd drive, just install it and then the video should play in media player, though you will find the program much better than media player

I would recommend buying the Nvidia DVD decoder. It allows you to take full advantage of your 6 series video decoder / encoder, and does a great job. 30 day trial downloadable from nvidia.com and the full version is only about $20. Its actually quite good. Performance is good and the quality is vastly improved through use of the Nvidia decoder, which applies things like colour balancing and antialiasing to DVDs.
