440, that is kick ass though a nice 25% boost, I bet with a voltage mod and a switch to better thermal compound you'd give dsio a good run for his money, though I agree that farcry doesn't need it, and with that being the most modern game you play I see why your happy at stock
As it turns out that was the 2D setting, 1.8 and 220 is her best dance for the 3d setting.

1.8Ghz ram is great no matter what you are talking about. As for 3D, its 350Mhz stock, so 220Mhz is an *underclock* Dan

400Mhz is a good speed to stick to, and will do absolutely no harm. The ultras run that speed, and they have extra voltage too, so you have nothing to worry about damage wise. As for DDR, run it at 1.18 (1.8Ghz is a little too high ) or whatever your max is and it should be fine.

Sorry should have read 420 rather than 220!

and 1.08 seems to max it.

Sorry about the figures, dyslexia strikes again!

Now set at 400 and 1.08

Somehow I think your 512MB cards are the problem. Ive been playing with some 6800Us in SLI on an AN8-SLI, and they are just flawless, but they are both XFX 256MB cards. Im sending them off to the customer next week with the 77.76 driver set, and if Daishi gets the new XGs out, those instead.

Next build is going to be a 7800GTX SLI setup on the same kind of AN8-SLI so ill have my first tinker with a 7 series. Biggest problem Im having is bloody DDR ram.

I dont know what the hell has happened, but there is a DDR shortage in Australia right now, and its mainly around my state (Queensland) where the problem is. I cant buy TCCD in any brand, I cant buy BH5 in any brand, the best I can get is this cheap "Elixir" tripe from the mines of Siberia. Even the Elixir has doubled in price all of a sudden, and due to time constraints, ive had to order G.Skill TCCD from New Zealand and pay postage and insurance on it.

Ah k, got confused I thought you meant like your cards dont work, but the MSI cards, with the Nvidia stock drivers worked, rather than the MSI drivers and the Nvidia drivers. Have you tried doing the 77.76s with the TweaksRUs.com type 3 tweaks doing it the RT way?

do you mean the 77.62(3)'s??? cant find any 77.76's

Any as far as my cards are concerned they work with both nvidia reference drivers and MSI drivers but not with any modified drivers which is strange as I did have the 77.62 type 2's working for a bit when I swapped over from the 6600gts? weird now they wont work at all even on a fresh install?
