You should be able to apply the 80.40 ones to it quite easily. Maybe not, I just assumed that the tweaks would be the same, and since they only effect the registry, not the driver itself, they would apply in the same way.

I could be wrong though, I dont know :\

Tell you what though, grab the CS: Source tweaks off them http://www.tweaksrus.com/forums/inde...t=0&#entry8865

I just tried them and I think it made CSS a little smoother and stopped it from wallowing (hitting absolute low frame rates in some areas)

Tell me what you think (try a before and after)

We were having too many server problems and that was the last straw... So we purchased a dedicated server from a different webhost and are currently setting everything up. If all goes well the site should be fully operational within 24 hours.

BFG 6600GT oc agp+.80.40 XG stable in Far Cry. I highly recomend this one over newer 81.26 as they gave me multiple crashes. BTW I use Dc pro. Also had good luck with 77.77. Tried a bunch of drivers lately and so far 80.40 XG rocks!

I recently tried the 80.40 drivers, and started the FEAR demo, and had artifacts everywhere, so i went back to the 78.05's and the problem went away. The 78's are the most stable on my rig for some reason, so i will be sticking with them for a while.

I had a really bad time with the 80.40's The display would get really jacked up on BF2. Although it might had to do with me not using driver cleaner first. i'm running 77.62's right now and all seems to be ok.

Oh, I've installed a 6600gt from my ATI 9800. Was this a move only slightly up? Or just a move sideways?

Robbie, if you play BF2, try the XG 78.05s, BF2 is much better on them as they have the new anti hitching tweaks, and the 78.05s are better drivers in general.

80.40s were flakey, but were great for a select few.

What comments did you expect? The 6600GT is a very nice card. Good performance, brilliant value, and nice overclocking headroom. Its not the fastest on the market, but its definately the sensible man's choice.

Its better than a 9800 Pro. Newer technology, and a faster card. I think its a step up for sure. With shader model 2.0/3.0 apps it comes into its element over the 9800 Pro.

Dont forget to driverclean btw, and tell me what you think of them

I have these on my system now. Followed the instructions and ran the driver cleaner program.

Didn't really notice anything except that several problems I was having with CS:S maps are now gone. Really pleased overall.
