| SoundBlaster L!ve 24-bit in BF2 i want some good sound, so i set the settings to hardware and high, plus EAX and the sounds are awsome, but the voice over thats in the game is all glitchy and is really slow. is my card just not good enough b/c it does that on every sound setting for Hardware. i cant seem to figure out why it does it

| Try using the auto update feature on the soundblaster website to see if you need any updates to your drivers.

| November 2004 was when the EAX4.0 release came out, and even cards that didnt support it were updated to make them at least compatible with it I think. Do what Daishi said and it should fix it, but make sure you select the right card to auto update. Different Live!s are very different.

| i cant seem to find the auto update feature on their site, could you give me an idea to where it is at, also, what is the cheapest audigy 2, i want something better than this card. EDIT: did some more searching and found it, but there was no driver updates but they had software updates, should i get those?

| Yeap, but uncheck all of the stupid creative software. Alternatively try this http://files.aoaforums.com/code.php?file=2081 Install the Audigy / DVD / Music option NOT the Live gamer option.

| the sound blaster live 24 bit isnt REALLY 24 bit it just uses emulation. id go for an audigy 2 zs its TRUE 24 bit and its only like 75 bux.

| Yea just make sure you dont buy one of those odd audigy cards like the LS or the NX that are never supported. The ZS is a good common choice.
