nope, rondog is about the only one left on that particular side of the fence. But then, I wont hold it against him, as the 9600 hardly counts as a 3d card anyway :P

Wait untill he put his hands on some Ati Crossfire...I know he's pissed off right now..But I trust he'll be the first one here to show us the latest Ati technologies. I just feel it..and I know he feels the same deep in his heart

I think someone here has a X850XT. BTW Exile69 you're now 13 posts away from becoming a Gecko.

Might as well spam my way there then. LOL. Actually, I really wish I had of gotten an NF3 Ultra-D with a 6800 and unlocked, but w/e, no going back now unless someone wants to trade.

I don't think that'll happen unless you're extremely lucky.

Chris, i think i have a solution. Remember early in this thread i said something about changing the ID of the card to a 6800GT? Seeing as your card is theoretically a 6800, change ur ID to that using rivatuner. Then restart ur computer and re-install ur drivers. See if you can go a bit further on the overclock because it's letting me get a bigger memory clock on my card if i set my core at 365mhz.

Edit: Im at 835mhz now on my memory and temperature at a constant 70c!

Edit 2: I've maxed out at 855mhz! An increase of 155mhz over the stock memory speed!! Which is twice the amount it let me overclock before i changed the card hardware ID!

Edit 3: I've managed to get the core upto 376mhz now! No artifacts or significant increase in temps at all! Maybe i've found a nice little trick for overclock these cards?

I need your advice !-overclock.gif

Thats choice!! 9k in 3DMark 03 is blazing for a card that price!

I know mine has been stellar , unlocked since day one
the ID change didn't help me any tho...

course they cost about twice as much back then

You want a go? I'll take you. In everything exceptmarks, i'll get smashed in those. Except for 3DMark01. My A64 will win that.

Cross fire the R520, then we'll talk about performance.

BTW: People, dsio and I arent being cruel to each other. Just playful mucking around. I think....

Well i just benched with 3dmark03 and have improved my score by 231 marks, not a significant increase but an increase nevertheless!

3D Mark 03 result: 10392

I'm just gonna test 3D Mark 05 now.

Oh make no mistake, dsio is being cruel, he knows no other way, even among fellow nvidia owners who weren't lucky enough to unlock 16pipes he rubs salt in their wounds!
