Individual Speaker Control

Hi,
I recently purchased a Philips MMS460 5.1 speaker set and they are great but I was wondering if it is possible to have individual speaker control so i can turn the speakers at the back up as they are too far away to give a proper surround feel.

I'm running 3 jacks into the back of my Gigabyte GA-K8NE motherboard, Front L/R, Cent/SubW and Rear L/R. The driver is Realtek AC97 Audio with latest driver.

Thanks, Adam

You're down to the control panel for the Realtek AC97 codec really. I don't know if it provides that functionality though, as I don't have a system with a Realtek codec running right now.
