Depending on age and genetics, human hearing runs from approximately 20Hz to approximately 20KHz.

However, speaker specifications are only a quarter of the picture. The quality of the sound is affected by:
  • The DAC converters (on a soundcard for example)
  • The cabling to the amp
  • The amp
  • The cabling to the speakers
  • The speakers themselves
  • The position of the speakers
  • The materials and coverings used in a room.
