I'm afraid I'm not sure if it's flashable to 16 pipes, but still faster than your current.

Or try and get hold of an X800XL, X800XT/PE, or top dog X850XT/PE. Won't be cheap though.

Or go PCI-E and get an X800 GTO2 which has a high chance of unlocking to an X850XT. Means chaning you board an CPU though...

pro has 12 pipes, xt and xtpe both have 16
x850 pro might even be faster than your current (definetly in any hl2 based game) but the xt will be even faster than the ultra even in most games, and the xtpe in all games regardless.

A friend has an X850XT-PE (actually an Asus X800XTPE but its an X850XTPE) and it spanks my 6800Ultra in benchmarks easily. He went from a 6800GT to the new card and would not go back!

x850XT PE May be a bit quicker but there no support for SmartShader 3 (SM3), so its probably swings and roundabouts which ones better in the long run... i know which id have...6800 Ultra all the way...
