Now, this is an extremely nice set. The 83.60s gave very nice image quality and very good speed. They also feature the ALL NEW Nvidia control panel that is much like ATI's CCC.

Very interesting driver indeed.

So those with the 83.20's that they just downloaded and installed should install these?

What can I say, technology marches on!

Drivercleaner remember... so if you don't feel like drivercleaning again, keep the 83.20s, because they seriously are good drivers. This set is a bit better but not much.

Its all about experimentation.

I would not go by that to be honest. The image quality and stability in the 83.20s is the equal best there is, and they perform brilliantly and with stability in games. 3Dmark06 is simply another 3Dmark bench with a margin of error and inconsistent performance readings.

For BattleField 2, 83.20 is the best driver to use. I havn't tried the 83.60s in BattleField 2, but I would imagine it would be as good, if not better.

For benchmarking the 76.10 TweaksRUs Xtreme-G drivers still seam to be the fastest driver, but the image quality isn't up to scratch compared to newer drivers. It just doesn't have the sharpness or colour depth.

Here are some images of the new control panel. TweaksRUs may have removed it from the 83.60 set, and rightly so, because it crashes <ALOT>. I mean about every 5 changes you make it will crash.

It is an "as well as" to the normal Nvidia control panel, but is probably the way of the future, as it lets less computer literate people actually see what the Image Quality settings they use are doing.

I already know what these things do, and liked having everything on the one page, without a big menu and sub-menu system.

Its a matter of prefference. And I don't like it.

It should be noted that the temperature display in this new control panel can be set to record temps full time, much like NVtemplogger. This is one of the better new additions.
