Worth Buying creative sound card

COMPUSA has both the Creative Labs Soundblaster live $4.99 and the Audigy 2 Value $39.99. Are either of these two worth buying or should i stick with onboard sound with my EPOX 9NDA3J RealTek ALC850 AC¡¦97 .

I really only ues this for gaming and I use a headset, occasional movie through cheap speakers.

I bought the Soundblaster Live card and it works great. I havn't had any problems. I even use the 4.1 surround capablilities and it works great. Its pretty cheap for an upgrade.
If you are happy with your onboard then you will be fine to keep it, but I found that my onboard wasn't compatible with every game I try to play. sometimes there would be pops & clicks in some games also. I think mine was the AC97' Realtek. Its is pretty good for coming with the board, but if you are ever interested in recording audio or having a decent surround sound for games/movies then you may want to upgrade to soundblaster.
Good Luck
