| Neg. Only the AGP flavor was NV40 based. The PCI-E is.....NV42??? Or some other variant (DSIO, you come in HERE) However your likely to see good overclock's which may help compensate for the lack of pipelines.

| This is correct. The 6800GS PCI-E is a 110nm 2nd generation 12 pipeline part, not a 130nm 16 pipe part like the AGP 6800GS. The upside is the 110nm chips clock far higher than the AGP ones, with some people getting into 600Mhz territory with good air cooling. The 130nm chips top out near 420-430.
