A New Nvidia Geforce GPU Is Coming

And unfortunately that's all the information you're going to get, except for a countdown to release. See for yourselves:

no new high-end cards for DX9...Vista is next. Midranges will debut, and a few VERY promising gpu's from ATI to come in the next few months...

I really hope MSI's video-card-with-a-socket makes the grade...2 MXM modules..one on each side.

The 7600 range was shown at nVidia's press conference at CeBIT. (Along with the 7900 series, and some AWESOME looking demos)

Possible that it will follow the unified shader design? (Unlikely)
Or will that only been once we get Vista?

r580 is the highend, so lesser numbers mean lesser parts.

rv570 is 12 pipeline, 36 shader units, 8 vertex units.
R520(x1800xt) is 16 pipe, 16 shader, 8 vertex, and a bit slower than the rv570. the "v" in the name has some special sinifigance tho....

That's my understanding.

And dual or even quad cores per PCB without the need for a bridge chip.

Not really. All R300+ ATI gpu's are capable of multi-rendering, including AGP ones.

Guess again.
