riping software

need to convert some MP3 to an audio cd and don't know how or with
what. help me to hear nusic again.

Well the best thing I find for riping music, or to make music more ripe, is to leave it on the tree for the longest time possible (ie just before the music falls from the branches)

Facetiousness aside If you want free, then I would use deepburner to make CD's...it's also a good little cd-burning utility.

Deepburner

For commercial solutions, I tend to prefer Nero (although version 7 has made me shudder)

I found recordnow to be a royal PITA ...but that's just me as always, everyone has their own opinions and experiences.

For preference I use CDEX to convert the file format (into .WAV) and Nero to burn. The first is freeware, the latter you can download as a trial.

Had you considered a player that can cope with MP3's on CD directly ?
Quite a few CD walkmans and most DVD players do this nowdays.
