Ageia PhysX & newegg

http://www.newegg.com/Product/ShowIm...d%20-%20Retail

128 bit, 128mb (PCI) first cards from BFG available now...any have an order in?

At $299 though, good god, I thought the low(er) end models would be a little cheaper.
I was also expecting a 256mb PCI-E version, what is the expected realese date on that?

EDIT: Just a thought. Can something like this be overclocked?
It carries a mathematical processor just like a standard CPU and GPU...
Can it be done? Or is the processing speed 'locked' so to speak.

I don't know if they can be o/c'ed, but if there is a will to do it, then there's going to be a way found, I'll wager. Just too many geeks out here to let them go @ stock speeds.

I'll be placing an order for one to fill the 2nd SLi slot instead of getting a 2nd vid card. Don't know the ETA of the 256MB version either, but ASUS will be making one I hear.

Let's all sing Kum-bay-yah, cuz this will be an awesome way to play the new games!!

they are PCI at present I think, you wont be filling your other PCI-E slot with it.
