| Soundblaster Live 24bit and speakers I've got a soundblaster Live! 24 bit card. as seen here => http://www.soundblaster.com/products...ct=10315&nav=1 I've got 2 sets of speakers, one on a monitor, and one set by themselves. Also i got a subwoofer that i picked up, however i have no idea which plugs to use, because i can't get it to work right. i had it working through only one set of speakers in the green port. but when i put the speakers plug in the next one over (black port) the sound stopped from both speakers. so some assistance would be appreciated. |

| On my setup i have one set of speakers plugged into the green socket and the other set plugged into the orange socket. That's on the Audigy 2ZS however, i believe JC Denton has a Soundblaster live, PM him.

| Are these powered speakers or not? Because all of them, particularly the sub, need to be powered on a Live!

| I suspect you have the software for the card running in 2.1 speaker mode. You'll have to enable 5.1 sound to include the extra speakers.

| I've got it set for "5.1 surround sound speakers" and i've got it set for the soundblaster in the Sounds and Audio Deviceds Properties thing. I've got the small speakers in the green, the monitor speakers in the black and the subwoofer in the orange. the other port is the blue and i'm 90% sure it's for the mic. (considering there's a pic of a mic by it) i've only got sound coming from the green port. and that's only the dingy noise when you click on the volume slider and midi files. |
