| Newegg has the board for $140. As for performance, the benchmark numbers they show seem to indicate that it falls between the 9800 Pro and the 6800GT (looks like about 15%-25% faster than the 9800 pro, and about 10% slower to 10% faster than the 6800GT, depending on settings and application).

| That's why I said in the post that it might not be a bad deal, if the price was right. Newegg has an opened box item for $110, here. However, the cheapest I've been able to find the 6800GT was for $179. That's a little over 20% more money, for not quite 20% better performance. I'm not entirely certain I agree with the bang/buck analysis there......

| I have virtually the same card, but a Connect 3D model. My friend has a 6800GT. The difference is minimal. It can run BFME 2 at full settings. It can run BF2 at 1280 x 1024 with meidum to full settings no problem. It can run Prey easily, although I'm not sure of exact details. It also runs CSS at max settings. Oh it is definately vastly superior to a 9800 Pro.
