Question I need some advice

I have decided to get me a Geforce 4 TI4600.

I found 3 cards, Leadtek, ASUS and Creative. The price differ a lot and that confuse me a bit. Look at the cards and prices, I have translated the price from my currency, ( Swedish Krona), to US dollar and Euro:

Leadtek GeForce4 UltraTi4600 128mb TV-out DVI Retail AGP - 544 $ or 615 €

ASUS V8460 Ultra GeForce4 Ti4600 128Mb DDR DVI Retail AGP - 528 $ or 597 €

Creative GeForce4 Ti4600 128Mb DDR DVI TV-out Retail AGP - 440 $ or 498 €

I don't know which card I should go for. I don't care about any bundled software, I just want the card.
It differ more than 100$ / 100 € between Creatives and Leadteaks card.

Any advices here ?

I'm not a fan of creative, but as far as i know there is no reason it should be $100 less. I'd go for that card.

Yeah, go for the cheapest of the lot. I had a creative card once, it never gave me any grief.

dont rush out and buy!

the gf4 boards are known to have problems fitting in a lot of motherboards, including the 8kha+ so double chekc the board will fit, aparantly MSI make a board that WILL fit, but i dont know about availability on those

Thumbs up

Thanks for your input.

If right informed, MSI makes the videocards that Creative sells.
I'm just curious how the price can differ so much.
From what I can see the cards are almost identical.

When i bought my geforce3 from elsa it was £100 cheaper than some others, it was just as good.

Id suggest asking the retailer for the full spec of the cheapest and most expensive cards and compare them.

Pay particular attention to clock speeds and other features (TV out dual head etc)

When a new card comes out there is allways some odd price variation..retailers buy at a set price and often dont ajust there prices for price drops. Thats why you will see the odd geforce2 ultra still on sale for £300 (in the UK) even though you can buy a geforce2 for half that now.

Cool

Update: I bought a Creative TI4600. It work just fine.
I was afraid it wouldn't fit in my 8KHA+ because of the capacitors.
I have to be careful when I plug in the card. I got a space of approx ½mm between the capacitors on my mobo and the GF4.
