Nvidia's G80 innards exposed

The Inquirer has the details on the nVidia G80 architecture . Much of this has already been guessed elsewhere, but the Inq claims that this is the real deal.

yeah, this is turning out to be quite a bit more interesting than i expected. And 8th November, wow, i thought this was gonna be a march '07 release. I wonder what ATi's counter attack will be. I know it's gonna be the R600 but it'll probably be X2000XT and XTX.

(-Ati's-) Amd's will be next generation technology as well so if they keep up there current naming like scheme it would be more like the X2800XT, leaving room for mid range chips to slot in. Just like nvidia have left room for the 8200, and 8600 etc
