Partly due to chipset and cpu limitations tho. If you see the load-balancing, it's quite apparant that this quad tech was far ahead of it's time, making it quite impractical. Hopefully some of the games that are currently in development and use SMP or some such will make such perform to the extent of thier rendering power.
