7800GS vs x1950pro AGP

I need an opinion, do you think it would be stupid of me to get a 512mb version of the 1950pro AGP? I have noticed that the 1950 can get a lot higher scores in 3dmark05, but I get better scores in 3dmark06 with my 7800GS than any 1950pro can get. Just curious.

For the extra money it is probably better to stick with what you have.

You might not notice any gain in actual gaming.

I have to agree with Sam here - I don't think the performance gain would be worth the extra money, especially since you seem to be on AGP I would save up the money towards a PCI-E rig.

Us AGP users are almost obsolete now!

Yeah, I've done a bunch more research and found out that I would actually lose performance in some games, the 1950pro AGP is nothing more than a marketing ploy.
