Hard Drive Question

Ok so I have found out that 680 gigs is not enough for necorum. Seems as though the bigger the hard drive size i get the faster I fill things up.

So my question is does anyone know of a cost effective LARGE <--- Hard drive. Pref. a terabyte or 2

I think the largest drives at the moment are only 750gig and they offer far from the best $/GB ratio.

The best value drives are 320/400Gig models in terms of cost per gigabyte, and 500Gig is about thje ceiling of reasonable cost with 750gig drives carrying a large premium

It's not really safe to support two 8800GTX's (i presume) on a 500watt PSU for one thing you probably don't have two PEG connectors and the necessary headroom, can you give us some more info on your PSU and system?

If like me you keep music in lossless format you can easily eat into the hundreds of gigabytes region.

But having massive storage to take this to a party seems overkill, I keep a DVD+RW of lower bit rate files for a similar purpose which I can play using a dvd player or pc and add to as I update my library.

A DVD full of mp3's seems like a better idea, who needs 10,000+ tracks at a party!
