Well, according to Valve, some 2.95 % of their userbase have 7300. Given that the most popular cards are the 6600 (with some 7.88% of users) and the 7600 (with 7.21% of users), midrange is where the majority of users are. Vista with a DX10 capable GPU manages about 1.24%, which is a pretty tiny amount. If that's the case, then it might be a bit questionable as to how important DX10 is currently!
