breaking on through to the sli side

my dad in a weird move today bought a gtx so that means i get his old 7600 which is the same as mine for sli. he has the same computer as me almost and wants to be ready for crysis. so... i've never really done anything with sli before and know theres something that i'm not gonna do right the first time so can anyone tell me what you do to get it to work or do you just put in slot and apply bridge? do i have to reinstall the drivers or anything of that nature? so in the mean time i'm gonna run all the benchs over before and after i get this thing up and running. just as soon as i get my new ram because the crucial from my sig has since passed.
