my first steps in sli

now a few questions how can i overclock these together? like make sure they have the same core and mem frequencies? and is there anything i can do to get better performance?

the cards are the same as far as the name but different clock and a different layout physically. thats why i worry

You might struggle a little. It will default to the lowest card setting.

Is it working now? Do you have any benchies?

What is the average score of a 7600. Is is under 4K?

ok just trying to get the most out of my two cards. as far as gaming goes theres really not that big of improvement after than at the same setting i had it before with one card it would chug alittle but now it doesn't.

Load up FRAPS. That will show the frames per second during the game. You can get a one card two card comparison.

You can also try different SLI Performance modes in the advanced menu of Nvidia control panel, then set a profile for each game as you test them. Some games respond better to split screen while others will respond to alternate frame rendering.

ok thanks for some reason when i got to temp in the nvidia control it freezes the program and i have to restart it. and the auto overclock thing set it lower core clock than the 580mhz

Do a complete remove of the drivers including using driver cleaner. What driver did you use?

You could use nibitor to change the bioses to match the speeds and so on.

so i guess the only difference is the revision(A1 and A2) and card bios. wont it make any difference if i updated the bios to make them the same?
