Any old AGP gusy out there?

Say guys, in your opinion, what is the very best most up to date and current, AGP graphics card available today?
I realize AGP is history and hard to find much but I am into a project and need the help.

AGP cards are outrageous now.

I just bought an AGP 1550Pro 512 card for a friend and it came in at about 100 bucks. It is crazy....(It is equivalent to the 7600GS...)

Looking at the list, the X1950gt at $130 would be the best value. It should outrun your 9700 by double the frames..

Personally, I would scour ebay and see if I could find a 6800GT or Ultra, those where good AGP cards, and should be reasonably cheap now

that's only if you want to got the second hand route though.

IMHO, AGP graphics cards are pretty ridiculously overpriced now, and it (unfortunately) isn't worth spending any money on a new one.
